At Better by Miles, we have a team of committed & highly skilled Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEP) and Exercise Scientists (AES) specialising in rehabilitation, injury prevention, chronic and acute disease management, athletic performance, and personal/group training for all ages.

Initial Assessment
During your initial consultation at BBM, you will be guided through an assessment with your Health Professional. This can be performed either at one of our BBM clinics or at your residence/local facility.

Treatment Plan Supervision
You will then be supervised undertaking your individualised and specific treatment plan.
Prescription
Your Health Professional will then develop and prescribe an individualised and specific treatment plan.

Reassessment
Reassessment sessions will be undertaken regularly throughout your time with BBM.

Liam Miles
Principal Exercise Physiologist
Liam graduated from the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in 2015 and has over 6 years’ experience in clinical exercise delivery.
Over the past 6+ years Liam has honed his skills in exercise management across a wide range of conditions. Liam is extremely passionate about helping his clients understand, firsthand, the benefits of exercise and utilising exercise as medicine.
Sean Reilly
Exercise Physiologist (Honours)
Sean led an active lifestyle growing up, he competed at a high level in tennis, cricket & football. Being active from a young age contributed greatly to Sean’s eventual chosen career path.
He originally studied business at university, however, soon realised his passion and motivation lay within directly influencing people’s health, both mentally and physically.
Josh Russell
Exercise Physiologist (Honours)
Josh graduated from the University of Queensland (UQ) in 2021 with Honours in Clinical Exercise Physiology. He is an extremely driven practitioner with a passion for educating patients -
that their health is their greatest wealth! He brings a positive and light-hearted nature to his sessions and takes pride in delivering a personalised service to each patient and accommodating to all conditions.
Adam Walter

Adam graduated from the University of Queensland (UQ) in 2022 with Honours in Clinical Exercise Physiology. He is a dedicated practitioner that strives to work alongside his clients -
to achieve their goals and maintain their ideal lifestyle. Adam discovered his love for physical activity from an early age
through playing competitively in Cricket, Basketball and Rugby.
Yvette Hines
Exercise Physiologist (Honours)
Yvette graduated from the University of Queensland (UQ) in 2022 with Honours in Clinical Exercise Physiology. She is a motivated practitioner who aims to inspire.
Her first priority is her patient’s needs which are accommodated through tailored programs based on the individual's conditions and goals.
Kai Meersbergen
Exercise Physiologist
Kai graduated from Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in 2023 and has a diverse background spanning both sports and clinical fields. While working at the BNE Roar FC Academy,
and Brisbane Private Hospital's Spine Surgery Rebab Clinic, Kai applied an integrated approach to help patients achieve their goals clinical and personal goals.
